The 2025 call is OPEN until 8 October. It selects international consortia of entities to exchange their staff for up to 12 months. LAC institutions are eligible. Brazilian co-funding available.

The call for applications is open to PhD thesis projects on emerging infectious diseases (EIDs). The emerging or re-emerging nature of the disease(s)/pathogen(s) studied must be justified in the applications.

The purpose of this programme is to boost triangular cooperation in the Latin American region as a modality for achieving the SDGs, and to direct it towards a more advanced model. This model will have a more innovative workflow based on transformative processes and elements, keeping in step with the region's current needs and challenges.
