EURAXESS North America will host our Ninth Annual Meeting of the European Scientific Diasporas in North America. This flagship event will be held in-person at the George Washington University's (GWU) Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, DC.
Our annual meeting event explores the successes and experiences of the European researcher diaspora networks in the United States and Canada and the increasing importance of scientific diasporas. It will take place in-person on Friday, October 27th, 2023 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
This year's theme is Teaming Up: Leveraging Networks towards a Stronger Global Approach to Research and Innovation. The free event is open to all researchers in North America, as well as those based in the U.S. and Canada who have or would like to benefit from European research grants to further their careers, including staff who want to learn more about European funding and collaboration opportunities for their school's researcher and student community. Representatives from scientific diaspora networks, European embassies, North American universities, U.S. government, industry, research institutions, and more are also expected to attend and participate.
The event is free but advance registration is required.
