Decoding European Research Grants: Boston Children's Hospital info session

TheBoston Postdoctoral Association (BPDA) and Boston Children's Hospital Postdoctoral Association (BCH PDA) will host an event titled "Decoding European Research Grants: Boston Children's Hospital info session for postdocs and early-career researchers" on European funding opportunities offered under Pillar I of Horizon Europe, the EU's framework program for research and innovation.

 

Geared towards postdoctoral and early-career researchers, join to hear from representatives of EURAXESS North America and the European Research Council Executive Agency. We will present on the European Commission's top researcher mobility schemes—MSCA fellowships and ERC grants—as well as the free EURAXESS services for researchers on both sides of the Atlantic. While those funding bottom-up funding and mobility schemes are open to all domains, we will tailor examples to medical fields. As a reminder, the programs are also open to all nationalities.

 

The event will take place in a hybrid format at Boston Children's Hospital on Friday, February 28th, 2025 at 12:30 PM ET. The free event is aimed at researchers at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, but it is open the wider public. Advance registration is required, so please register according to your affiliation and wait for a confirmation email. You may also join remotely on Zoom. The presentations will be made available afterwards on this webpage.

In addition to presenting on European as a research and collaboration destination, as well as the EU's free EURAXESS services, Derya will also share a presentation prepared by the ERC Executive Agency. Joining the event to chat with attendees will also be Anne-Charlotte Merrell Wetterwik, Research and Innovation Policy Assistant at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States.
