Call for International Cooperation projects in Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I)

Embrapii (Brazilian Company for Industrial Research and Innovation) has launched the 32nd IraSME Call for international cooperation projects in Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I). IraSME is an initiative that unites a total of five countries - Brazil; Belgium, with the regions of Flanders and Wallonia; Germany, Luxembourg and Turkey - in promoting industrial innovation projects. 

The aim of the call is to support the development of new products, processes or technical services.

Countries participating in the 32nd IraSME Call:

  • Brazil
  • Flanders (Belgium)
  • Germany
  • Luxembourg
  • Turkey
  • Wallonia (Belgium)

What is funded

  • Development of new products, processes or technical services which exceed the current international state of the art.
  • Technical/experimental development up to a prototype level.
  • R&D with significant technical risks for each funded partner.
  • Minimum constellation: 2 companies from 2 participating countries/regions.

The approval of the projects and their direct contracting take place between the company and an EMBRAPII Unit (See Units at: https://embrapii.org.br/unidades-embrapii/)

The Company must contribute at least 1/3 of the total cost of the project in financial resources.  The total value of the projects is negotiated directly with the EMBRAPII Unit. Depending on the financing modality, the project may receive up to 50% of non-reimbursable resources.
