Description
TransformAr Open Day – City of Lappeenranta Open field day in the city of Lappeenranta on 29th August. The objective is to showcase climate resilience solutions and activities implemented in the Green Deal TransformAr project. Solutions and activities include a range of measures to enhance natural management of stormwater and the involvement of citizens.
In addition, there will be guided tours of the recently completed stormwater treatment area in the city centre as well as guiding to citizen science project.
The event is addressed to local stakeholders: citizens, consumers, corporate actors, policy/decision makers, press and media, schools, youth, scientists and researchers.
Open Day is organised by the Lappeenranta municipality as a part of EU Green Week events and the annual Lappeenranta Greenreality Carnival.
