Report: Long-Term Stay Rates of International STEM PhD Graduates in the U.S.

The Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University has released a report titled "The Long-Term Stay Rates of International STEM PhD Graduates," detailing how many of the international students who earn STEM PhDs from U.S. universities stay in the country after graduation. The primary takesaways are that long-term stay rates are high and similar across STEM fields. As EURAXESS North America both promotes Europe as a research destination and supports the efforts of the European Scientific Diaspora (ESD) networks in the U.S. and Canada, we share this report to shed light on topics of transatlantic research ties and brain circulation
