The Remote Fellowships for Researchers from Ukraine from the Hanse-Wirtschaftskolleg – Institute for Advanced Study (HWK) support researchers from Ukraine whose research is hampered due to the war in Ukraine. The fellowships are location independent and are intended to enable researchers to continue their scientific work. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent and worked at a Ukrainian university or research institute, before the war. The funding period is six to ten months, with the funding amount being €1,500 per month (approximately USD $1,565 / CAD $2,010). The assessment process is ongoing and applicants are encouraged to apply at any time.
