European Scientific Diasporas: Call to identify new networks

euraxess

As EURAXESS North America, a project of the European Union to promote researcher mobility and highlight EU funding, one of our mandates is to support the European scientific diaspora (ESD) networksand researcher networks of all domains, including the social sciences and humanities. In that spirit, we have cataloged the networks we are in touch with on our homepage (click the European Scientific Diasporas tab for the full list).

If your researcher network does not appear in our list, we invite you to reach out so we can better know you and loop you into our information on European funding for researcher mobility (both from North America to Europe and vice-versa) and promote you to our audience.

Introduce your network

We invite network leaders or members from this list (basically, countries that are EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries) to introduce their network if they don't show up in our aforementioned researcher diaspora network directory. At the moment, we put particular emphasis on networks representing Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Tunisia, and Ukraine, due to a study being conducted on these countries. With that said, we welcome entries from European networks of all sizes, including university- or city-specific networks. They need not be formally established organizations and could be a simple as a LinkedIn network of fellow citizens in a specific research field in a particular state, for example. Our aim is to be able to share your news, events, and information with the wider community and also ensure we are able to highlight research funding and collaboration opportunities.

If you have any questions or comments, please email us at NorthAmerica@euraxess.net – thank you!
