On October 1st, 2022, EURAXESS the Netherlands partner AcademicTransfer invites academics worldwide to participate in The Netherlands Recruitment Day. An online event for early-stage to senior researchers, who would like to proceed with their career in research or higher education in the Netherlands. The Netherlands Recruitment Day offers academics the opportunity to meet with professors and recruiters from top universities, research institutes and industry in the Netherlands.

Participants can join The Netherlands Recruitment Day conveniently from home. There is an online career fair, where all organisations present themselves and candidates can get all the information about career opportunities. On top of the career fair, candidates have the chance to be invited to a one-on-one interview with a professor or recruiter. To give recruiters ample time to schedule the interviews, registration is now open.

The Netherlands is a great place for researchers. All Dutch universities are among the top 2% of universities worldwide and the Dutch innovative top sectors are among the best in the world too. It’s also a great country to do your PhD, as PhD candidates almost never have to pay tuition fees and are regarded as employees. Requirements

To join our recruitment day and be invited for an interview, you will need to have :

• An up-to-date English CV and a short personal research statement.

   

• A Master's degree (or soon obtaining) if you want to start a PhD. If you have a bachelor’s degree you can not participate and can not apply for an interview. 

   

• A good level of English, a TOEFL/IELTS certificate (or soon obtained). To communicate with your colleagues you need to have a good level of English. Most Dutch universities require a TOEFL score of 80 and higher or IELTS of 6.5 and higher. All your research can be done in English. It depends on the organisation if you need some Dutch skills too.
