About

Celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, EURAXESS China, Japan and Korea are organizing this webinar to feature inspiring female scientists in their respective countries. The online event aims to show how important it is to support and encourage each other and the next generations to engage in STEM field and other area research. The professors will share their experience and advice with peers and emerging researchers interested in pursuing careers in science.
Started in 2015 by the United Nations, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science highlights and celebrates the role of women and girls in research with the goal of inspiring and engaging others, and improving gender equality in the scientific environment.
Science Europe and many of its Member Organisations, as well as other research organisations and stakeholders, spoke out in support of women and girls in research on the day in previous years.
