This conference provided a forum for the development, dissemination, and implementation of tools to aid individuals, communities, policy makers, healthcare practitioners, social workers and researchers address and discuss some of the most pressing issues related to the effects of an ageing society, in particular for working women.
We EURAXESS Japan participated in this event with a booth and a short talk during the first day of the conference where we presented materials and EU policies towards gender equality and retirement for researchers in Europe.
The discussions with the researchers who attended were insightful, and the exchenges of various personal experiences helped to better understand the situation within the researcher workforce, specifically for senior women.
We're looking forard to further editions of this conference!
