Training Workshop: Effective Proposal Preparation for European Research Fellowships

THE WORKSHOP:

A comprehensive and interactive full-day workshop covering all aspects of effective proposal preparation for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) European research grants including the Individual Fellowships and the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange Programme (RISE).

This one-day workshop will focus on providing researchers in Thailand with the skills needed to successfully communicate the content and potential impact of their research to the evaluators of European funding programs with a particular focus on the MSCA-IF and the MSCA-RISE.

Hands-on training led by the European trainer will focus on:

  • Proposal structure
  • Partner Identification
  • Evaluation
  • Financial aspects
  • Review of sample proposals

THE TRAINER:

The workshop will be led by Ms Katia Insogna, EU Senior Research & Innovation Consultant and Trainer with UK-based Innovative Technology and Science Ltd. Katia is a highly competent consultant and trainer with more than 15 years expertise in EU Research & Innovation funding programmes.

COSTS:

Participation in the workshop will be free of charge. Lunch is included in the programme. Participants must cover their own travel and/or accommodation costs.

ELIGIBILITY:

This event is open to researchers of any discipline and any nationality who are working at public or private institutions of higher education and research as well as companies in Thailand 

The workshop is limited to 60 participants.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Interested candidates are invited to submit the following:

Short C.V. (no longer than 1 page)

A ½ page statement detailing your interest and current plans for a research project with partners in Europe. Please be as precise as possible

Applications should be submitted to simon.grimley@euraxess.net by the 15 May. The The selection of participants will be conducted by the workshop organisers.
