This physical event is jointly organized by Jimma University (JU), EURAXESS Africa, the Delegation of the EU to the AU, and the Embassies of Italy and France.

Objectives of the Event:

• Provide information on Horizon Europe funding opportunities, fellowships, and mobility programs, supported by EURAXESS Africa.
• Proposal writing on Horizon Europe Pillar 1, Africa Initiative III, and three selected clusters in Pillar 2.
• Offer practical sessions on navigating the EURAXESS Portal and Funding & Tenders Portal.

Event Highlights:

• 150+ researchers from Jimma University and neighboring institutions will gain insights into successful grant writing, funding opportunities, and scientific collaboration.
• Hands-on training on EU portals and testimonials from European project awardees at JU.
• Networking with the Delegation of the EU to the AU, EU member state Science Counselors, and grant-writing experts.

🌍 This workshop is a unique opportunity to craft persuasive proposals, build international partnerships, and amplify research impact.
