The objectives of EURAXESS Africa Days to be organized jointly with EURAXESS Africa, Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) in South Africa and ESASTAP are as follows:

• Promote research collaboration and networking between South African  and European researchers
• To provide information about research funding opportunities, fellowships and mobility programs available through EURAXESS
• Workshops on research funding opportunities and mobility programs available through Horizon Europe in Pillar 1 and Africa Initiative II in Pillar 2
• Organisation of a practical workshop related to the use of the EURAXESS Portal and Funding and Tenders Opportunities portal

EURAXESS Africa Days is a series of major events that will bring together researchers from across South Africa to promote research collaboration, share information on research opportunities and challenges, and identify strategies to address these challenges.
