EURAXESS Africa Day

EURAXESS Africa Day aims to facilitate the participation of African research entities in the Horizon Europe programme (Pillar I - mobility and Pillar II - collaborative projects).

The objectives of EURAXESS Africa Day to be organized jointly with EURAXESS, EUDEL in Kenya and the Faculty of Science and Technology (University of Nairobi) are as follows:

• Promote research collaboration and networking between Kenyan and European researchers
• To provide information about research funding opportunities, fellowships and mobility programs available through EURAXESS
• Workshops on research funding opportunities and mobility programs available through Horizon Europe in Pillar 1 and Africa Initiative II in Pillar 2
• Organisation of a practical workshop related to the use of the EURAXESS Portal and the Funding and Tenders Opportunities portal

The EURAXESS Africa Day is an important event that will bring together researchers from Kenya to promote research collaboration, share information on research opportunities and challenges, and identify strategies to address these challenges.

We hope that this event will be successful and that it will help Kenyan researchers to advance their careers and contribute to the development of their respective country and enhance the collaboration with Europe.
