Description

A hosting offer for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025 call is available at Asst. Prof. Dr. Wonmi Ahn’s Plasmonic and Nanophotonic Materials Laboratory at Bilkent University, Ankara (https://wonmiahn.unam.bilkent.edu.tr/). We investigate how strong optical fields interact with matter and change its properties. We develop novel plasmonic and photonic materials and characterize their interactions with matter using diverse spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques. Our research aims to develop new applications in sensing, spectroscopy, and chemistry. Successful applicants must have a recent Ph.D. degree in materials science, chemistry, nanotechnology, or a related field of engineering. Applicants should send their CV to Asst. Prof. Dr. Wonmi Ahn at wonmi.ahn@unam.bilkent.edu.tr and prepare to deliver a remote 30-minute presentation based on their Ph.D. research.

Eligibility Criteria

The MSCA-PF program is open to Postdoctoral Researchers with up to 8 years of experience following the completion of their PhD. Candidates from any country are eligible to apply. However, they must not have lived or conducted their primary activities (such as work or studies) in Türkiye for more than 12 months within the 3 years immediately preceding the European Commission's submission deadline (10 September 2025).
