A hosting offer for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 call is available at Prof. Dr. Hilmi Volkan Demir’s research laboratory and at Bilkent University UNAM, Ankara. The research is going to be related to the PI’s work on research and development of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals and their light-emitting devices including colloidal LEDs and colloidal lasers for lighting, display and sensing applications. 

The research group developed the understanding of using spectrally narrow emitters of nanocrystals for high efficiency and quality lighting/displays, and contributed to transform the knowledge of spectrally sharp discontinuous color conversion, which is now being adapted in some commercial products in industry.

Successful applicants must have a recent Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
