Koç University Nanofabrication and Nanocharacterization Center for Advanced and Scientific Research (n2STAR) welcomes applications for individual research grants for Sklodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF-2024)

We invite highly motivated postdoctoral researchers interested in different fields of research on:

• Photonics/Nanophotonics
• Optics/Optoelectronics​
• Electronics/Micro-Nano electronics
• Micro and nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS) ​
• Nanomechanics
• Microfluidics
• Biomedical Applications​
• Bionanotechnologies
• Nanomaterials
• Sensors and Semiconductor Devices

Our Center holds a world-class R&D infrastructure (housing a state-of-the-art cleanroom) of over 1,000 m2 processing and characterization laboratory area

• 760 m2 cleanroom (ISO 5)
• One of the best well-equipped cleanroom environments for patterning and coating process capabilities in the country
• Best of the best material characterization infrastructure, from atoms to complex molecules.
• Atomic level characterization up to 0.078 nm
• ∼ 17.5M € worth total equipment park  

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences/health sciences/mechanical or electrical engineering, mechanical engineering (or other fields of engineering), physics, chemistry, biology or in a related field and strong communication skills in English.

The applicants are expected to co-supervise Ph.D. students, conduct research, and communicate their findings in scientific journals.
