Sabanci University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM), is a multidisciplinary research center equipped with the state-of-the-art infrastructure in the field of Nanotechnology (https://sunum.sabanciuniv.edu/en). SUNUM is seeking highly motivated and talented postdoctoral fellows to join our research team in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF-2023).

Our research group focuses on the design and fabrication of functional plasmonic surfaces and interfaces for biosensing applications. We have expertise in various biosensors, including but not limited to electrochemical detection, colorimetric detection, plasmonic detection, aptamer and antibody-based sensing approaches, surface biofunctionalization, and analytical characterization. Our laboratory infrastructure holds state-of-the-art instruments for comprehensive material characterization and biotechnological applications.

We are looking for post-doctoral researchers to work on the development of novel biosensor surfaces or interfaces with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Nanofabrication techniques (soft lithography, EBL)
• Surface biomodification techniques (handling various types of biological material)
• Analytical techniques in sensing optimization and validation (BLI, SPR, QCM)
• Material characterization methods (FTIR, XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, CD, DLS)
• Antibody and/or aptamer development techniques (SELEX)
