Professor Miguel Molina-Solana from the Department of Computer Science and AI at the University of Granada, welcomes postdoctoral candidates interested in applying for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) in 2021 at this University. Brief description of the institution:

The University of Granada (UGR), founded in 1531, is one of the largest and most important universities in Spain. With over 60.000 undergraduate and postgraduate students and 6.000 staff. The Department of Computer Science and AI, University of Granada is one of the most relevant in terms of scientific production worldwide, as recognized by several rankings. Its members are heavily involved in the Computer Science curriculum (BSc, MSc and PhD levels) of University of Granada.

Project description:

Our research group aims at developing new Machine Learning technologies to progress towards climate-neutral buildings in their operation. Amongst our current research, we are developing advanced AI algorithms, particularly Reinforcement Learning ones, to optimize building energy control. We are also developing the tools and benchmarks to make interaction with existing energy simulators possible. Finally, we are also working on creating simulation models based on deep neural networks and historical data.
