Description

The GRAM Research Group in Mediterranean Archaeology (http://www.uv.es/gram) at the University of Valencia (Spain) is a remarkable international group in the research of Mediterranean Archaeology under the lead of professor Pere Pau Ripollés. The group heads several national and regional research projects and participate in different international projects with a wide projection through the participation in the most recognized conference and impact factor publications. We work with a multi scalar approach including Socioecological dynamics in Iron Age and Roman times, the romanisation process and the development of complex societies. These investigations are supported through several research lines leaded by pioneer groups in Numismatic research, Material Cultural (technological, stylistic and archaeometric analysis), Chronology and theoretical perspectives. The GRAM group interest includes current approaches in computational analysis through several transversal focus encompassing Spatial Archaeology, 3D reconstruction, ABM models, Bayesian chronological models and Networks analysis.
