The Department of Statistics in Operations Researchis interested in developing a project especially focused on the modeling and mathematical treatment of interval and fuzzy uncertainty, and its application focused on the field of robotics and computer engineering and social sciences (if necessary, we can choose one of them). For the first, we will focus on interval and fuzzy analysis to generate predictive models by means of neural networks. For the second, we will centre on the optimization of resources, with a prior study of the comparative efficiency in their use, and its application to sustainable social development.
