MSCA-COFUND ATHENEA3I RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME
Athenea3i is a research fellowship programme focused on attracting highly talented researchers to the Universidad de Granada (UGR) in order to benefit their research career with a Triple ‘I’ approach offering international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral opportunities. This innovative fellowship programme offers the experienced researchers an outstanding opportunity to develop new skills and competences, enriched with a personalised and pioneering career mentoring plan. Athenea3i also includes research periods at different international institutions, and optional secondment in regional, national and international companies.
The highly talented human capital will be hired by the Universidad de Granada. They will play a key role establishing bridges for the transfer of knowledge, exploitation of the results, and future research not only in relation to academia, but also to industry and businesses. Athenea3i’s commitment pivots on the applicability of research outputs by making Science for Society: reinforcing not only the innovative aspect but also open data access and public engagement.
The Athenea3i Research Fellowship Programme offers a total of 10 fellowships with duration of 36 months to be executed at the Universidad de Granada (UGR). Applicants can choose their research topic freely within all academic areas: Environmental Sciences and Chemistry, Economic Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Information Science and Engineering, Life Sciences and Physics and Mathematics. In addition, Athenea3i will help in the process of developing high-level researchers, by offering a huge variety of training activities.
Each fellowship includes 4.000€ for living allowance plus a total of 1.500€ depending on different aspects such us family status, mobility and/or training cost (gross contributions per month).
