We are looking for candidates with a strong background in either Quantum Information & Quantum Technologies, and/or in Artificial intelligence & Machine Learning, in order to join our emerging Quantum Machine Learning group.

Our research directions are in strong alignment with the expertise of the Computer Vision Center, namely the interaction between quantum information processing and Reinforcement Learning, Continual Learning, Generative Models, Graph Networks, and Image Processing. Importantly, we also keep an eye to the social impact of quantum technologies, together with links to artistic narratives; thus, if you are interested in these aspects, we encourage you to reach out to us!

The ideal candidate is expected to have expertise in both theoretical and numerical methods. The selected fellow will be integrated in the QML group,and will have the chance to coordinate a small team of master and PhD students. In this line, we expect the candidate to actively participate in both internal and external collaborations, steering projects related to quantum machine learning and quantum technologies (mainly quantum computing and quantum sensing).
