Description

The Algebraic Graph Theory group at UNSL consists of two Professors, six graduate students, and four advanced undergraduate students. We work on topics related to the subfields of interest.

In 2016 we introduced the null decomposition of trees (Jaume and Molina) and some graph operations that allow to understand (in a graph-way) the fundamental subspaces of the adjacency matrix of a tree.  We also introduced the use of the Drazin inverse in the study of graphs. Jaume and Sota gave a natural combinatorial description of the Drazin inverse of a tree. Adrian Pastine works in the Hamilton-Waterloo problem and in Cayley Graphs. Jaume and Pastine also have worked in chemical graph theory with I. Gutman, one of the leading researchers in the field.
