The Baekeland-programme of the government agency for Innovation by Science and Technology (IWT) offers researchers the opportunity to obtain a PhD-degree in close cooperation with the business/industrial sector. A Baekeland consortium consists of 3 partners: a company with activities in Flanders, a Flemish university and a doctoral candidate.
