Outline
A scholarship for a researcher holding a master degree within the scope of the BlueCAO Project – development of a support platform for an offshore aquaculture funded by “Fundo Azul” (Decree no. 16/2016, of 9 de March). The task would be the design and verification of safety of an offshore floating platform made of pre-stressed concrete, including the corresponding numerical modelling. What is funded
A funding of €980 per month will be paid during the period, according to the guidelines established by FCT, I.P. (http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores), being the payment method selected by grant holder: check or transfer.

Eligibility
Master degree in civil engineering, structures specialization. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience on design and verification of safety of pre-stressed concrete structures, and in the use of structural analysis software
