About
The IRCRO scheme is managed by the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO).
The IRCRO scheme provides co-financing to support collaboration of SMEs with public scientific and research organisations (universities, institutes, ...; at least 50% state ownership) in carrying out R&D projects, aimed at developing new products, processes or services. Collaboration takes the form of a contract research and development, done by the scientific/research organisation for the SME, and all intellectual property rights concerning the results of the project belong to the SME.
The main aims of the IRCRO scheme are stimulating SMEs to increase their R&D activities, stimulating cooperation between companies and scientific/research institutions, and maximising usage of knowledge and infrastructure of scientific/research institutions.
