Outline

The Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 from the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi (FUV) support international PhD graduates to continue their postdoctoral training at Italian research institutions. FUV supports two primary research areas: oncology and chronic diseases.

Oncology:

  • Cellular therapies as a mean to treat cancer (i.e.: CAR-T, CAR-NK);
  • Female tumors (breast, uterus and ovarian cancers);
  • Male tumors (prostate, testicle, bladder);
  • Paediatric and adolescents’ tumors; Metastatic diseases;
  • High impact, still difficult to treat tumors including lung, pancreatic, gastric, and brain tumors.

Chronic disease:

  • Smoking and smoking-related pathologies;
  • Diet and nutrition;
  • Physical activity;
  • Impact of pollution.
