About

This mobility scheme is in principle small international mobility grant scheme implemented in cooperation with Czechia, Austria and Serbia. The scheme is part of the Donau Strategy, its priority area 7 “Knowledge Society”. It has no sectoral focus or specific target groups other than researchers/research organisations intending to establish cooperation with their foreign counterparts.
The objectives of the programme are “… (i) to enhance research in the participating countries by providing financial means to mobility of researchers in the framework of joint research projects, (ii) to contribute to research capacity development in the region, (iii) to support cross-border research cooperation, (iv) to enable young researches (up to 35 years) to work in an international environment and strengthen their research carrier.
Majority of participants are from academia though in Austria private organisations may participate in case carry out research and development activities. Therefore, in principle, intersectoral mobility may be also supported though it is probably very unusual.
The scheme has been designed in cooperation of R&D agencies or of ministries responsible for R&D in the respective countries.
There is no sectoral focus of the scheme and no particular target group has been selected.
