About
This scheme is administered by the Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) jointly with the Austrian Research Support Agency (FFG). Its aim is to strengthen links between fundamental scientific research and experimental research in enterprises, particularly in the processing industry. While not focusing on ISM, PhD students can be exchanged between academia and the private sector as a side benefit of this programme. It is an explicit goal of the initiative to support the transfer of scientists from university to businesses, via a dissertation or post doc placement.
