1. PhD degree in Chemistry or an equivalent level of professional qualification and experience are essential.
2. Well versed with methods of organic and physical organic chemistry.
3. Candidates should have confirmed research experience and strong background in organic synthesis and common methods of characterisations of organic compounds (NMR, MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, HPLC etc).
4. Experience in polymer chemistry, materials chemistry, electron absorption/fluorescence spectroscopy, electrochemistry, ESR, XRD and/or other physical methods of characterisation and studies of organic molecular and polymeric materials for electronics, and DFT calculations are desirable and would be an advantage.
5. Strong publication records relevant to organic chemistry and/or materials science.
6. Highly motivated researcher with strong interest to pursue research in experimental organic materials chemistry.
7. Ability to resolve complex issues and make technical, and procedural decisions and judgments
8. An ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

1. Full-time employment contract with the rank of Assistant Professor or Assistant Researcher position (depending on the qualification) at the Faculty of Chemistry;
