Offer Description
Applications are open for 1 Research Studentship, within the scope of the R&D Unit CiTUA - Centre for Innovation in Territory, Urbanism and Architecture, ref. UIDP/05703/2020, with the financial support of FCT/MCTES
Workplan: The work plan to be developed is part of the research project “Habitat regeneration as cradle for resilient healthy communities for the future (reHAB)”. The research activities include: (1) methodological framework study; (2) fieldwork survey for case studies identification and workshop activities; (3) case studies evaluation; (4) documents reproduction, testimonial collection and redesign; (5) organize and participate in initiatives of the project dissemination: periodic debates with guests, public seminars, academic activities, scientific publications and communications.
Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of 12 months. It’s expected to begin in April 2023, and not renewed.
It is mandatory to formalize applications with the submission of the following documents: i) B1 Form – Fellowship application (https://ist-id.pt/concursos/bolsas/ ); ii) Curriculum Vitae; iii)academic degree certificate, where applicable; iv) proof of enrollment at a course that does not award an academic degree; v) motivation letter; vi) declaration on honour that the applicant does not exceed with this contract an accumulated period of two years in this type of studentship, continuously or with interruptions.

Admission Requirements: The scholarship is intended for students enrolled in non-degree courses (at the date of submission). The candidate must have: (1) Master’s degree in the scientific area of Architecture; (2) scientific research experience in architecture, preferably in healthcare architecture; (3) knowledge of computer programs for text processing (as MS Word), data processing (like MS Excel), image processing (like Adobe Photoshop) and graphic composition (like Adobe InDesign or Illustrator); (4) Domain of Portuguese language (advanced spoken and written, eliminatory factor), English and German (spoken and written, preferential factor).
Additional Information
Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (http://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is €1.199,64, being the payment method by Wire Transfer.

Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following:
- Curriculum evaluation (80%);
- Experience in research (20%);
- Individual interview (optional in case of a tie).

Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
