Offer Description
Participation in Thermodust project “A paradigm shift for the future's thermal management devices through radical innovation in new materials”, partner of Universitat de Barcelona, for the characterization and processing of novel materials developed in the project for new highly advanced applications.
The post-doc will be responsible for the simulation processes, and will help in the characterization tasks.

Simulation of powder processing through: MATLAB, ANSYS, FLUENT.
Metallographic characterization of samples with SEM, FESEM, TEM, DRX, AFM, Laser Scattering.
Thermal characterization through: DSC, TGA, DTA
Knowledge in additive manufacturing technologies

Eligibility criteria
• Advanced knowledge of materials engineering and chemical engineering
• Advanced Knowledge of simulation processes
• Advanced experience in sample preparation and materialography
• Experience in using advanced characterization techniques
• Knowledge in additive manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of technical English
• Experience in writing reports and/or research articles
