Offer Description
The project AVEMUS will take place in Portugal (Lisbon).
The selected applicant will be integrated within the research group of the project, carrying out the tasks performed during the term of the project, with particular emphasis on digitalizing and transcribing the music scores belonging to the assets of the ancient Royal Monastery of São Bento da Avé-Maria in Oporto, from 1764 to 1834.
The total duration of the research contract is of 6 months non-renewable. The expected starting date is 1st May 2023.

Bachelor´s degree in Musicology or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience in transcribing music scores, preferably with the software Sibelius.
Experience in digitalizing music scores.
Required Languages: Portuguese or English or Spanish or Italian
Additional Information
Monthly research fellowship corresponds to € 930,98€
A bachelor’s degree in music or equivalent. Previous experience in digitalization and transcription of music scores and acquaintance with 18th and 19th century music manuscripts are appreciated.
Applications will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria in a 0 to 10 scale: 1) average grade of academic degrees (0 to 5 values); 2) specific experience/skills (0 to 5 values); In case the jury finds it appropriate to ask for an interview, selection criteria a 1) and 2) will have a weight of 50%
