We seek a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher with a proven track record in cancer biology and/or immunology methods to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent research on the molecular mechanisms underlying immune evasion, development of pre-metastatic niche, and early events of metastasis. Skills/Qualifications

Experience in basic cellular and molecular techniques such as tissue culture, basic histological methods, flow cytometry, and RNA extraction and PCR are essential. Additional experience in bioinformatic analyses, metabolomic assays, multiomics, and establishment of cultures from human samples would be highly valued. The ideal candidate should be familiar with tumor model organism work and immunological studies and should possess excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.

The position requires the ability to work independently on data analysis, creation of data figures for presentations and publications, as well as manuscript and grant writing. In addition to technical expertise, we seek a candidate who is self-motivated, well-organized, and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. A strong commitment to scientific integrity is a must. Fluency in written and oral English is essential, as the work takes place in an international environment and will have opportunities for presentation at national and international level.

Additional Information

Benefits

Successful applicants will be awarded a two-year Career Development Scholarship. The scholarship is a training and development position for a post-doctoral scientist who has completed their doctoral studies, and is moving into a new research group. The stipend of 300 000 SEK per annum will be supported by 30 days annual leave entitlement.
