Offer Description
Task 1. Preparation and characterisation of anode materials and screening of the electrochemical performances.
Task 2. Kinetic and mechanistic studies.
Task 3. Proof of concept of magneto-electrolysis of organic molecules. Mechanism and assessment of magneto-electrolysis.
Task 4. Calculation and evaluation: costs, social and environmental impacts and eco-efficiency

-Master degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or material science or a related field related to the research topic with an excellent grade.
-Good theoretical and experimental knowledge of the current field of green-hydrogen production.
-Experience with collaborative projects and the ability to work in a team.
-Excellent command of English.
-Strong background with demonstrated longstanding experience in the synthesis of materials by solid-state and soft chemistry approach, as well as very good experience in characterization techniques including diffraction, spectroscopy, and/or electron microscopy.
-In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of electrochemistry.
-You will be able to write scientific manuscripts, and present results at conferences.
-Desirable: co-supervise bachelor's and master's students.

Additional Information
The EU-Pathfinder ELOBIO project provides support for the recruited researcher in the form of a living allowance (Annual stipend per year: 18 000.00 €).
In addition, funding is provided for research, training and networking activities
Researchers funded by ELOBIO must not have a doctoral degree at the date of their recruitment and should be enrolled in a UPM doctoral programme during the project.
