NOTICE FOR AWARDING RESEARCH GRANTS

Masters in Geological Engineering (enrolled in non-academic courses integrated in the educational project of the University of Aveiro), with experience in research in Geomedicine, demonstrating the ability to carry out field and laboratory work for the development of peloids using clays and thermal waters, with sampling, physical and chemical preparation of the samples, their instrumental chemical and mineralogical characterization (DRX and FRX), development of maturation processes and study of textural, rheological and thermal properties.

Proof of enrollment must be completed up to contracting, and the candidate may attach a declaration of honor in which he/she meets the requirements for enrollment in a course that does not confer an academic degree.

If the qualification has been conferred by a foreign higher education institution, it will have to be recognized by a Portuguese higher education institution, in accordance with the provisions of article 25 of Decree-Law no. the legal regime for the recognition of academic degrees and higher education diplomas, awarded by foreign higher education institutions, and paragraph e) of paragraph 2 of article 4 of Decree-Law no. 60/2018, of 03 August, any formalities established therein must be complied with by the date of the contracting act.

The amount of the scholarship corresponds to €1.144.64, according to the table of monthly maintenance subsidy values, set out in Annex III of the Regulation of Scientific Research Scholarships of the University of Aveiro, amount subject to updates that may occur and that are applicable to it. The scholarship holder may also be reimbursed for the amount corresponding to the Voluntary Social Security, in case of adhesion to this regime.

: Candidates who comply with the provisions of paragraph a) of paragraph 1 of article 2 of the Research Fellowship Statute, as amended by Decree-Law no. 123/2019, of 28 August, and also the provisions of article 9 of the Regulation for Scientific Research Grants of the University of Aveiro.

he selection methods to be used will be the following: curriculum evaluation (A), laboratory experience (B) and, if the jury deems it necessary, interview (C). The ranking of candidates will be determined according to the following formula: Final classification = (A + B + C)/3, if with interview, or (A + B)/2, if without interview.
