The successful candidate will perform the following functions:
- Provide support in basic genomic and clinical data management tasks required for the project (ETL extractions from Medical History and other systems, mapping, OMOP and HPO annotation, data flows and data management).
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality and security of data handling processes.
- Assistance in writing projects, articles, conference abstracts, reports to funders.
- Attending project meetings and other meetings organised by the laboratory.
- Giving technical support to the research lines of the advanced medical informatics laboratory. 
- Participate in training activities.

Application requirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bionformatics, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence.
- Have accredited experience in the following tasks:
-Data management and processing projects, preferably clinical. 
- Programming in R and/or Phyton. 
- Relational database management and design: SQL, MySQL, PostGreSQL or similar with at least two years of experience.
- Experience in the management and design of non-relational databases will be a plus.

Computer skills

• Temporary contract until end of projec. 31/12/2025
• Professional category of Graduate, Group III, Area 2, according to the collective bargaining agreement.
• Full time of 37.5 hours per week.
• Gross annual salary: €22.500
• Private matters: 6 working days per year.
• Vacation: 22 working days per year.
• December 24 and 31 are non-business days.

The selection process will consist of two phases and the following scale will be applied, out of a maximum of 10 points:

-Training and curricular merits: 6 points.
-Personal interview: 4 points
