Offer Description
Applications are open for one (1) Research Studentship, within the framework of project/R&D institution Pathways towards Age-friendly Neighbourhoods: Transnational research, knowledge transfer, collaborative approaches and capacity building for the transition towards the 15-minute city, ref. DUT/0002/2023, financed by national funds through FCT
Workplan: The selected candidate will participate in the tasks of the AGE-15 project, specifically in tasks 3, 4, and 5, namely:
- Identification and implementation of specific methodologies in the Living Lab in Lisbon.
- Support in conducting Walking Interviews.
- Support in designing the Co-creation Workshop in Lisbon.
- Contribution to the dissemination and communication of results obtained from the AGE-15 approach within the case study.

- Possess knowledge and experience in conducting research, data collection, and systematization within urban and social studies.
- Experience in applying participatory methodologies in urban planning.
- Organizational skills, autonomy, commitment to established objectives, and ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Portuguese.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Additional Information
Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Tabela_valores_SMM_2025.pdf ), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € €1,309.64, being the payment method of the Fellow by wire transfer.

Selection methods: The selection methods will be as follows:
- Curriculum evaluation (CV and qualifications) – 85%
- Proficiency in English – 15%
- Optional interview in case of a tie between candidates

Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
