The work will involve the application of state-of-the-art instrumentation and numerous laboratory techniques. The successful candidate will have a unique possibility to learn and master photoaffinity labelling of proteins, modification of the proteins through biorthogonal ligation reactions, confocal fluorescence microscopy, and proteomics. The successful candidate will also perform gene editing in mammalian cells and apply standard biochemistry techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, IP) in their work.

The findings of this work are expected to provide new insights into biomolecular phenomena potentially highly relevant to cancer and suggest new targets for therapies.
