Offer Description
Design will be performed by modifications of I3C. In particular, the indole ring will be functionalized by theintroduction of substituents with different properties, such as those related to electronegativity, lipophilicity and steric hindrance. In this context, it will try to obtain derivatives that are more stable in vivo and with better pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic profiles than I3C. I3C will also be modified by the conjunction strategy, which will lead to an increase in its size (2,3'- and 3,3'-dimerization) to be compared with the molecules originating from the in vivo metabolic transformation of I3C and endowed with good pharmacological properties (2, 3'- and 3,3'-diindolylmethane, CTr, CTet, etc.). What has been considered aims to understand whether it is possible to obtain satisfactory results in the in vitro and in vivo models of the project.
