Offer Description
RESEARCH THEME: “Experimental and computational research of the realization of an Alzheimer Biomarker through Microscopy and eye fundus Images”
Our mission is to explore new tools for the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases through the retina, the only part of the central nervous system with easy optical access. In this project, we aim to:
-Complete the experimental development of a super-resolution ophthalmoscope prototype using structured light illumination.
-Develop data analysis software to enhance the resolution and signal-to-noise ratio of microscope or ophthalmoscope images.
-Create a data stratification and analysis system with a database to assess the sensitivity and efficiency of the instrument using data from Alzheimer’s patients and control groups.
Requirements include:
- Proficiency with experimental optics and experimental optical design and realization
- Proficiency with software platforms such as MATLAB, Python, and C++.
- Understanding of optics principles and familiarity with image enhancement software and experimental techniques.
