The Department of Agrobiotechnology, IFA Tulln, Institute of Bioanalystics and Agro-Metabolomics is currently seeking a Postgraduate Research Associate (temporary replacement)

Extent of employment:         30 hours per week

Duration of employment:      as of now, limited to 12th of February 2025

Workplace: 3430 Tulln a.d. Donau

Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1,    € 2.684,10

Responsibilities:

• Research activities in the field of immunoanalytics and mass spectrometry in the context of food safety
• Processing of national and international third-party funded research contracts
• Participation in the research, teaching and administrative areas of the institute

Required skills and qualifications:

• Diploma degree in Molecular Biology,  Food- and Biotechnology or other equivalent university degree
• Language skills: German and English
• Experience in immunoanalysis and mass spectrometry
• Experience with bioanalytical working methods and techniques

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Experience in antibody-based test development
• Experience in molecular biology techniques
• Skills in particular in the development and validation of test systems using analytical and statistical methods
