Offer Description
The postdoctoral researcher will perform metabolic research in the context of immune cells, liver, and CNS. A major aim is to modulate mitochondrial dynamics in vivo and to discover novel functions associated to this process. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to synergize with the other members of the research team

Skills/Qualifications
A junior candidate (less than two years since PhD) is required for the position of postdoctoral researcher with experience in metabolism research, physiology, mitochondrial biology, and mitochondrial diseases. Demonstrable experience in CNS is a plus. Applicants should have at least one first-author publication in international
journals.
Specific Requirements
PhD in Biomedicine or related field.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge in physiology and metabolism.
- Accreditation for work with mice from the Generalitat de Catalunya.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative research team.
