Offer Description
We seek a highly motivated and skilled PhD candidate to join the cutting-edge research team at the Biomatter Lab, Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). This exciting PhD project investigates thermochemical solvo-liquefaction processes at a macromolecular level. The successful candidate will utilize numerical and process simulation tools to perform kinetic modeling and develop detailed reaction mechanisms.

- A BSc (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with a minimum 2:1 graduating grade.
- An MSc degree at distinction level would be advantageous.
- Strong background in numerical modeling and process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB, Python).
- Experience in kinetic modeling and reaction mechanism development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
