Offer Description
La Fundación de Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Universitario de la Princesa announces a position for a Laboratory Technician for the Research Unit of the Immunology Service at the Hospital Universitario de Santa Cristina, under the direction of Dr. Antonio Martínez.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED
• Experiments in cell cultures (cytotoxicity, pharmacology, production of reactive oxygen species)
• Protein analysis in samples from cultures and animals (Western blot, etc.)
• Hypoxia models in cell culture, ex vivo brain slices, animals
• Maintenance of cultures, management of transgenic murine colonies, management of orders and reagents

CONTRACT
The dedication of the selected person will be 1642.5 hours per year, and the salary amount will be established in the collective agreement of the “Grupo de Empresas de las Fundaciones de Investigación Biomédica de las Instituciones Sanitarias adscritas al Servicio Madrileño de Salud (SERMAS)” for the requested position.
he contract duration is temporary, linked to the research project ““Estudio del intercambiador mitocondrial de sodio/calcio en ictus isquémico” (PDC2022-133246-I00). This contract will be funded by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

SELECTION PROCESS

From the received applications, a curricular evaluation will be carried out where points will be assigned to candidates based on the merits presented, according to the requirements requested for the position.
Subsequently, candidates may be called for a personal interview.
Scoring: The evaluation criteria for this offer are as follows, up to a maximum of 19 points:
• Training in cell cultures. (Up to 2 points)
• Work experience in cell culture techniques. (Up to 2 points)
• Specific training related to the position. (Up to 5 points)
• Experience related to the position. (Up to 5 points)
• Personal interview: up to a maximum of 5 points.
