Description (field, expectations, comments):

The aim of the competition is to select a candidate for the position of a lecturer (in the field of criminal procedural law) at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin in the Institute of Legal Studies. The candidates are required to have a good command of the spoken and written Polish language.

Candidates entering the competition should meet the following conditions and submit the listed documents:

 

  1. a statement of compliance with requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Dz.U. (Journal of Laws) of 2023 item 742 as amended) (form to be downloaded);
  2. an application letter;
  3. candidate’s CV and questionnaire (form to be downloaded);
  4. a document (or its certified copy) that evidences the conferment of the academic degree of doktor in law, for documents in languages other than Polish, also certified translations of these documents into Polish and a certificate confirming the equivalence of the diploma with the Polish professional title / academic degree;
  5. a document (or it’s certified copy) confirming the award of the title of master in the science of the law with the final grade of 4.0 or higher (or equivalent); for documents in languages other than Polish, also certified translations of these documents into Polish and a certificate confirming the equivalence of the diploma with the Polish professional title;
  6. a document (or its certified copy) confirming the grade point average achieved in the course of law studies; 
  7. information about academic or professional achievements (including a list of publications or samples of legal documents) and didactic and organizational accomplishments, or a declaration about the lack thereof;
  8. the knowledge of the Polish language is required to the extent that it allows teaching classes (compulsory criterion in the case of a foreign candidate);
  9. a statement that the University of Szczecin will be the candidate’s main place of work (form to be downloaded);
  10. a candidate’s consent for the processing of personal data by the University of Szczecin in the recruitment process on a form available at the university’s website (form to be downloaded).
