The Department of Material Sciences and Process Engineering, Institute of Chemical and Energy Engineering is currently seeking a Postgraduate Research Associate.

Extent of employment:         12 hours per week

Duration of employment:      1^st of September 2024, limited to 31^th of August 2026

Workplace: Vienna

Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1, € 1.073,60

Responsibilities:

• Contribution to ongoing research projects and of new
• project applications in the field of energy and process
• engineering
• Contribution to established teaching courses
• Contribution to Strategie development in research and teaching
• Communicating research and teaching content

Required skills and qualifikations:

• Diploma degree in Environmental and Bioresources Management, Food and Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences or other equivalent university degree
• Language skills: German and English business fluent

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Specific interests/experience/master thesis in Energy or Environmental Engineering
• Experience with University processes for example as student delegate
• Openness and skills in dealing with diversity, inclusion, integration and interculturality
• Didactic skills
