Development of nanoparticles for gene editing
The research activity will concern the design, synthesis and related physical-chemical characterization of organic nanoparticles for the delivery of biomolecular tools for gene editing. In addition to the experimental activities, the appointee will also contribute to the planning of the project activities and their reporting

Master’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Materials Science, Physics and professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities;
-PhD (minimal three years) in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related subjects;
-Documented experience (also with scientific publication) in:
laboratory techniques for the synthesis and the purification of organic molecules
techniques for the synthesis of organic nanoparticles;
main analytical techniques such as DLS, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry, electron microscopy, etc;
loading and release assays of (biomacro)molecules loaded into the nanoparticles;
fluorescence and confocal microscopy;
Knowledge of MS Office and the main software for data and image analysis, and bibliography management (CellProfiler Analyst, FIJI / ImageJ, ChemDraw, Sigmaplot, Endnote, Mendeley, etc.).
-Good knowledge of the English language, and basic knowledge of the Italian language (for foreign candidates).

Additional Information
Contract of one year (renewable). Yearly gross remuneration for one year: “22.000,00” €
